Basin of Attraction

Hidden Attractor

About me

I am Xiao Xie, an undergraduate student in physics at Sun Yat-sen University, with research interests in nonlinear dynamics, complex systems, and computational approaches to chaotic systems.

I previously worked as a Research Assistant in Associate Professor Yu Liu's Evolving Complex Systems Lab at Beijing Normal University, and as a Technical Assistant in Professor Guanrong Chen's Centre for Complexity and Complex Networks at City University of Hong Kong.

My current interests focus on reservoir computing for chaotic dynamics, locally coupled Kuramoto oscillator systems, basins of attraction, and hidden attractors. More broadly, I am interested in understanding how nonlinear interactions generate complex collective behavior, how deep learning models can predict chaotic systems, and how hidden attractors emerge in nonlinear dynamical systems.

I am always open to academic discussions and learning from others. Please feel free to contact me at xiex68@mail2.sysu.edu.cn.
